The Identity Science Stream is part of the First-Year Innovation and Research Experience (FIRE) at the University of Maryland.  We research LGBTQIA+ identity development using qualitative research methods.  Our stream is interdisciplinary and draws from the fields of Psychology, Education, Public Health and Sociology.
